What You Will Do In Your Role
PRIMARY PURPOSE: | To driving overall continuous Quality Improvement with Mechanical/Electrical component suppliers, manufacturing locations and New Product Launch Quality that is consistent with Automotive Customer APQP and ISO/TS 16946 requirements. |
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. | Review engineering and manufacturing specifications to identify materials needed for product assembly for all manufactured goods. |
2. | Conduct supplier quality control audits on a regular basis to ensure vendors and their supplies remain in compliance with company and federal manufacturing and production standards. |
3. | Communicate with vendors regularly to address any concerns and foster an environment that facilitates continual improvement in working relationships. |
4. | Maintain a supplier database and include performance evaluations and quality control audits in the database for in-house access by company and manufacturing management personnel |
5. | Drive defect containment and assure problem resolution in a timely manner for component or material quality issues impacting production lines and external customers. |
SCOPE: | To manage the supply chain for RFTW, serve as the liaison for supplier, suggest structural quality and process improvements, and collaborate with other division engineers in a team environment. |

EDUCATION:
REQUIRED: | Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering Related, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Related, Engineering Discipline |
PREFERRED: | Master’s degree |
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED: | 8+ years of working experience in a supplier chain quality or design quality environment. 3+ years experience in a Quality focused role |
PREFERRED: | Strong Problem-Solving Skills, including knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and tools |

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED: | · Bachelor’s degree in an engineering science or logistics · Proven experience securing successful vendor contracts · Excellent in-house and external communication and liaison skills · Advanced knowledge of manufacturing and production process · Advanced knowledge of government compliance and quality control regulatory standards · Good inter departmental coordination ability · Good report making and presentation skills · Good verbal and written skills in both Mandarin and English for communication in a clear and concise manner. |
PREFERRED: | · TOEIC Certificate · Lean & Six-sigma · Experience in customer quality management and supplier quality management |
